PourCraft Coffee2.5.0 - App Store

PourCraft Coffee takes the guesswork out of pour-over brewing. Whether you're a seasoned barista or just bought your first gooseneck kettle, this app helps you nail the perfect water-to-coffee ratio every time.

HOW IT WORKS

Select your roast. Choose from light, medium, or dark roast profiles, each matched to its ideal brewing ratio.

Enter your coffee weight. Use the intuitive stepper or type in the exact grams (10g to 60g).

Get your water calculation. PourCraft instantly shows your total water needed, bloom water amount, and remaining pour, all based on proven specialty coffee ratios.

BREWING RATIOS

Light Roast (1:17) - Highlights bright, floral, and tea-like notes. Ideal for single-origin African coffees.

Medium Roast (1:16) - The sweet spot for most specialty coffee. Clean, balanced, and full of character.

Dark Roast (1:15) - Bold, heavy body with deep chocolate and caramel tones.

STEP-BY-STEP BREW GUIDE

PourCraft walks you through each stage of the pour-over process, from heating your water to the final draw-down. Every step includes the right temperature range (194-204°F / 90-96°C) so you can brew with confidence.

THE BLOOM

Great coffee starts with a great bloom. PourCraft automatically calculates your bloom water at 2x the coffee weight and reminds you to wait 30 seconds. This releases CO2 trapped in freshly roasted beans and sets up a more even extraction.

PRO TIPS

Eight expert tips are built right into the app, covering everything from why you should always use a scale to how grind size affects flavor. Each tip is backed by the science of extraction and written for real people, not coffee snobs.

Topics include:
- Why a scale beats a scoop every time
- Water temperature and why it matters
- The bloom technique explained
- Grind size and its impact on taste
- How fresh beans change everything
- Water quality and mineral content
- The spiral pour technique
- How to dial in your perfect cup

DESIGNED FOR REAL LIFE
